Dessa speciella fräsverktyg är speciellt anpassade för att fräsa dovetail (även kallade laxstjärt) formade spår samt för bakre sidogradning eller fasning av undersidor på arbetsstycket, Dovetailfräsarna bidrar till färre ställmoment och minskar produktionstiden.
Kallas även ibland för laxfräs.

The double-edged special milliing tools are excellently suited for producing dovetail grooves and rear-side deburring or chamfering of the bottom sides of work pieces. This minimises reclamping operations and reduces production times.
